Q: Tell me about a life-changing experience.
A: My most recent one was getting this job in Taupo to be their marketing manager for their regional tourism. When I moved up here at 8pm on a Tuesday evening, it was a really stormy night & I thought, “Oh no, what have I done!” because I’ve never been to this region.
But then I got myself a little apartment in Acacia Bay & would take walks with my dog, and now I love it here. At first it was scary moving from Queenstown, leaving everything behind, but four days into my new job I met my boyfriend & we’ve now been together for over a year.
Now I’m in a place I love, it was meant to be. Moving here was my life changing experience. It filled in the gap in my life. - Zelia

Q: What do you think your purpose here on Earth is?
A: To bring up good kids that can treat the Earth right & treat others nice. I kinda think motherhood is what I’m here on earth for.

Q: What do you need to let go of in your life?
A: Ex-girlfriends & bad lifestyle choices.
#Me: A family-owned petrol company - the only sustainable petrol company in NZ. It’s not mandatory to do it here, but we do & sell bio ethanol & bio diesel. It’s made from waste product from the dairy industry or used cooking oil.

#Me: I was a full-time pop artist in New Zealand and I toured the world. Now, I’m just in the nick-of-time reclaiming myself. Sometimes you don’t know what you’re in until you’re outside of it. I’ve wanted desperately to be heard and not everyone will hear you with the sincerity that you intend you it to have. Simplicity is often mistaken for naivety - breaking it down & finding the essence, that’s what great pop music is. It comes from a pure place or it’s not worth having.
